Underwater 3D Model of Budapest Pier (UAV)

The recording of the underwater part of the “Budapest pier” and the creation of an underwater 3D model allowed for the detection of materials, objects, and volumes on the seabed.

The creation of the underwater 3D model of Budapest Pier with the help of UAV technology is an important step towards ensuring the safety and efficiency of future work in the area.

The recording was carried out with an ROV from a test boat, which allowed for precise and detailed data collection. Once the data was collected, it was processed on a computer and a 3D model was created.

The model was placed in the HTRS96/HVRS71 coordinate system, which is a widely used system for precise positioning.

The resulting 3D model is an analysis of materials accumulated on the seabed, and it does not represent a hydrographic survey.

However, the model can be used to detect areas that the Client should pay attention to during further work on that part of the port.

This is an important aspect of ensuring that any work in the area is carried out safely and efficiently.

The 3D model is also useful for detecting areas of different contents of the seabed and precisely defining all foreign objects.

By reviewing the model, orthophoto, and digital terrain model of the seabed part of the “Budapest Pier”, it is possible to identify any potential hazards or obstacles that may need to be addressed.

Overall, the recording of the underwater part of the “Budapest Pier” and the creation of a 3D model is an important step in ensuring the safety and efficiency of any future work in the area.

By identifying potential hazards and obstacles, it is possible to address these issues before they become a problem, which can save time and money in the long run.

This is a great example of how technology can be used to improve safety and efficiency in the maritime industry.
